Direct Deposit

Avoid mail delays. Sign up for Direct Deposit today.

The Federal Government of Canada is moving toward phasing out government-issued cheques. To continue receiving benefits, including tax refunds and GST rebates, all Canadians must enrol for Direct Deposit.

Direct Deposit can be set up online, by mail or by phone.  There is one simple form to fill out and the government will deposit all payments from different federal departments directly into your bank account.

The form is available at all SASCU branches. If you require assistance, please visit us in-branch.  For more information, please go to the Government of Canada website:

directdeposit.gc.ca

For telephone assistance, call us at 250.832.8011.
